However its use is voluntary with a single annual review.
The fairest: Fairtrade
The Fairtrade Labelling Organisations (FLO) identifies the products of agriculture in the countries of the Southern Hemisphere, in the interest of fairness to both operators and distributors. These products are generally a little more expensive than their non-labeled Fairtarde Max Havelaar, but the price difference goes directly into the pocket of the small producer, allowing it to invest in the sustainability of its operations, its habitat and out of poverty.
The oldest: Demeter

Most demanding: Bio Cohérence
Private label charter by Alternative Bio (the FNAB, the Biocoop marks, Biomonde, PrioNatura, etc), this one is prided to be even more strict than our good old man label AB: 0% of GMO, resulting from farms 100% organic, animal feeds 100% organic and produced with the farm, organic 100% of ingredients in the processed products, etc It support also the products of proximity and the reduction in energy consumption. A new very demanding label which wishes the transparency and coherence.
